A note about registration - THIS IS DIFFERENT FROM LAST YEAR:

If this is your very first tournament, I highly recommend creating an account on pickleballtournaments.com well before registration opens.
To register for this tournament, please REGISTER WITH PT.COM.  Payments cannot be made with pt.com.  Payments must be made via phone or in person at the Pinetree Community Centre.

You cannot use pickleballtournaments.com to pay (registration only).

Registrations will open on Monday, January 20 at 10:00 a.m.
Please have your PCO (not USAPA) membeship number ready.

ALL DOUBLES PLAYERS (men's, women's and mixed) will register for the waitlist initially.

Based on your and your partner's registration time and date, we will add you to the event or t other actual waitlist.
Please note that in order for you to be added to any doubles event, you and your partner will have to register (one of you is not enough to qualify as a team).

Because we anticipate a high volume of registrations, we have set limits for the number of teams/players who can register for each event.

Teams who register in time will receive an email from the Pinetree Community Centre with payment instructions.  This can take up to several days.  Remember, your partner has to register as well for your team to be 'complete'.

Registration Start Date: January 20 at 10:00 a.m.
Registrations will be via pt.com only and processed in sequence:
For men's, women's and mixed doubles, your team is not registered unless both players have registered AND paid.  First come, first served.

BOTH players must register INDIVIDUALLY.  In other words, one player cannot register his/her partner(s).

RATINGS:

I have received a number of questions regarding the rating(s) to be used for registration.  As a result I have spoken to PCO and recommend you do the following - IN ORDER:

1) If you have UTPR (new USAPA) ratings, use those for registering for your events.
2) If you do not have UTPR ratings, use your PCO ratings for your events.
3) If you do not have a rating, consult with others who can provide you with feedback.  Also, I recommend you visit:

https://www.pickleballcanada.org/pickleball_canada_ifp_ratings.php

As usual, you can play up a level, but not down a level.
Participants cannot sign up for more than one event per day.

We will attempt to post the schedule a few days prior to Friday, April 17 so that you will be able to see when you will play your matches. The schedules for both days will be posted on the Fraser Valley Pickleball website: https://www.fraservalleypickleball.com/

I will update this site/pickleballtournaments.com from time to time to show who has registered and who may be looking for a partner.

Parking will be free all weekend – food provided on all 3 days (Fri snacks only).
Showers and change rooms on site.
